P2P Production Models

The p2p movement has been mostly parasitic, and if it hopes to become a sustainable enterprise that respects all parties involved and encourages creative culture, new models of production will have to be invented in much the same way distribution models have already. Unless the movement can implement financial and logistical models of production that feed p2p distribution, and are in turn supported by such distribution, it will never be philosophically or economically mature.
Kickstarter is a big step in the right direction.
