Boiler-plate disclaimer for any future writing I may do: This writing will be ridiculous. It will make sweeping statements of dubious validity. It will pose questions which may have been answered many times. It will make no bones about a lack of references, a lack of illustrative examples, and a consistent lack of expertise in any of the areas within which it goofs around.
