Our government seems to be pretty ineffective, financial institutions are faltering, infrastructure is aging, and the environment is deteriorating. It\u2019s a bit depressing, which may be why we\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ve been so obsessed with building a mostly frivolous digital world of our own.
